Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday.

On our first Saturday in Germany, Brian and I painted. It was pretty rainy outside, though, so it was a perfect "home improvement" day!

As you can see, our apartment was ALL white when we moved in. Very sterile and not home-y. Painting the whole living/dining area really made a difference! We also rolled up the carpets to reveal some great wood floors. We liked our apartment before, but now we just love it and can't wait for our furniture to arrive! It feels more like home.

Ahh! So much better with painted walls and no carpet! (None of this furniture is ours - it's just temporary until our stuff arrives)


And I think our kitchen looks much better without the curtains and WITH our new mini ficus!
