We had a wonderful time cruising on Holland America's ship, Noordam, for a ten day adventure in Eastern Europe with Stefan and Janet! While we loved all of the ports that we visited, we also had a blast hanging out on the ship, and in good cruising form, gorging ourselves with one delicious meal after the next. Here are some highlights from our time aboard the Noordam:

Day 1 in the port outside Rome, excited to cruise!
The port was about an hour away from downtown Rome, so Stefan and Janet arranged their transportation in advance. However, Brian and I decided to take the risky route - the "figure it out on the fly" in Italy is always an adventure : ) We rode the Metro to the main train station and rode a train to the port. The below picture was taken after we found Stefan and Janet on the ship, all excited to be on board!
